This was an exciting home search. I assisted a family that had a vision. They also had the intellect to take the vision and create an even more spectacular home. This is a spacious home with some very nice improvements. When the remodel is completed, it will be a really spectacular home. The new owners are so creative! They are opening up the living room and family room into a fabulous Great Room. They are taking the massive porch and creating an additional living space that will become a playroom for the children. The back yard will be transformed into a pool paradise.
This home was beautiful when we first viewed it. The living room had a very nice trey ceiling. The new owners are replicating the ceiling and extended it to encompass the entire new great room. What was once an array of halls and closets has been transformed into cabinets, shelves and added living area. The kitchen is being remodeled. All the flooring has been replaced. A workshop has been created out of some flex space in the garage. The owners’ father was a contractor prior to retiring. He has supervised the remodel and ‘what a difference he makes’. The little things like trim and baseboards are all being made identical. Outlets and light fixtures are being made efficient and placed where needed. The entertainment center is being moved into a practical location where it will be easily accessed and at the same time not be an encumbrance.
